How the fire was stolen
-
Chapter I.
For a long time the diagrams belonged to the Masters. They knew where the box goes. They would not say.
-
Chapter II.
The knowledge passed by hand, in person, at a whiteboard, and only to those who had already suffered. There was no manual. There was a Master, sighing.
-
Chapter III.
The trials were: align eight boxes. Align them again once someone adds a ninth. Discover the whole thing must move four pixels left. Nobody remembered who set the grid. Nobody dared touch it.
-
Chapter IV.
Then one of them went up the mountain and came back with the fire. A hero or a thief, depending which Master you ask.
-
Chapter V.

The eagle still comes every morning. It files tickets now.
You write the sentence. The layout stopped being a secret.
